Day Twenty

Hello Sydney

The Brisbane to the airport train
You betcha Jetstar is going check carry on luggage weights- for everyone!
We passed – we paid extra for 14 kg instead of 7 kg each

No sky ramps here, or lots of other airports either. We also board via the front or rear doors depending on our seat assignments. For those who are unable to use the stairs they have special outdoor lifts that look very safe. If it’s raining be prepared.

The train into Sydney Central Station

No rest for the weary, once we checked into our hotel Terry was ready to go, she had places already lined up that were open on weekends and today is Sunday. We rode a Tram (light rail) into the Circular Quay (pronounced key) and started walking.

We started with The Rocks outdoor markets and began our souvenir shopping. We really couldn’t buy anything until Sydney since we were maxed out with our Jetstar weight limits.

Off to walk across the Sydney Harbor bridge. You can pay money to climb to the top of the bridge in a specialized coveralls suit and strap yourself to some safety cables. Not David, his fear of heights is well founded after some incidents in his youth.

Remember this was Terry’s choice
Sixty six stairs so far is there no end?
Hallelujah!
Notice the person in the climbing suit, it was windy up there, 17 mph steady was the weather for Sydney, it was blowing harder up there.
The Opera House is comprised of three buildings.
To market for dinner
Also looking for food for breakfast

After we walked the bridge and the markets we called it a day.
