Day Thirteen

To market, to market, to market we go…

Birding along the way
Terry has rain allergies
David doesn’t
Rusty’s Market
Flowers
Fruits
Terry says so glad to find something that doesn’t upset her stomach
More than food
Interesting trees
What we’re up to today
Our destination off in the distance. The seas were rough and lots of seasickness going around.
Terry rode a glass bottom boat
This only about 1/2 of the pontoon

The pontoon served as a snorkel, scuba, and boat platform. There’s a water slide and they serve a buffet lunch, and there is a separate Helicopter pad anchored near by.

Fran – Our biologist snorkeling guide she took four of us out and explained what we were seeing
She is very knowledgeable
They even have an underwater viewing station

On the walk to the bus stop for our hotel we saw interesting things

A treehouse
Nope – Mexican’t
Spectacled Flying-fox Pteropus conspicillatus
https://www.steveparish-natureconnect.com.au/australian-bats/

We saw them in a tree getting ready for their evening hunt, and as it got darker they were flying overhead, the are big and fast.

Good night
