Day Seven

Uluru – All Day

Our Lodging and some activities
Pre-dawn artist display and stories

Dawn at Uluru

After the artist display we waited for the sunrise. Before the display and afterwards we were fed quite well.
It was a brisk 33 degrees or 1 Celsius

After freezing we headed to our room to thaw out and plan the day.

A camel footprint David found on his morning hike.
Terry painting a wooden ornament
David is into birding, name that bird. He saw so many new species he couldn’t keep track.
GoCA – Terry was part of a tour group

We watched presentations and videos. David couldn’t schedule a trip to the Uluru cultural center since you need to make reservations in advance and buy a National Park Pass. Oh you need to get a text to approve the purchase and we aren’t receiving texts, with a very few exceptions that get through.

David grilled his own dinner. Pork, Emu, and Kangaroo sausage.
A large selection to choose from
They had a salad bar with to much food, David was selective and didn’t stuff himself
